“Food Aid” will come out today and will feature Martin Lewis, who is known as “the money saving expert.” As the cost of living crisis gets worse, LadBaby and Martin Lewis want to raise as much money as they can to help stop people from going hungry.
LadBaby, aka Mark and Roxanne Hoyle, are popular on social media and work for charity. They will be the first act ever to be allowed to change the famous Band Aid song “Do They Know It’s Christmas?”

Martin Lewis of MoneySavingExpert and LadBaby have worked together to change the Band Aid song “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” to try to get their fifth Christmas number one in a row.
Mark Hoyle, a social media star, and his wife Roxanne (LadBaby Mum) are the first people to get permission from Bob Geldof, Midge Ure, and the Band Aid Trust to change the Band Aid song.
Where are the profits going to for this years Ladbaby single?
They will put out a song called “Food Aid” on December 16. Half of the money raised will go to the Trussell Trust, which helps people get food, and the other half will go to the Band Aid Trust.
The first version of Geldof and Ure’s Do They Know It’s Christmas? raised £8 million to help people in Ethiopia who are starving.
In 1984, they put together a group of musicians to make the charity single. Bono, who is also Irish like Geldof, George Michael, Duran Duran, Phil Collins, and Bananarama were among the many artists who performed.
It led to the Live Aid concerts in London and Philadelphia on July 13, 1985, and the Sport Aid campaign in 1986, which together raised millions more.
LadBaby and Mr. Lewis want to raise as much money as possible to help fight hunger and poverty. Mr. Lewis appears on the track with a number of musical collaborators who have not yet been named.
Mark and Roxanne, who are married, worked with Grammy winner Amy Wadge, who has worked with Ed Sheeran and Sam Ryder in the past, to rewrite the holiday song in the classic tongue-in-cheek LadBaby style.
The Hoyles have raised more than £1.2 million for the Trussell Trust through chart-topping songs and branded partnerships, but they say they want to do even more as the cost-of-living crisis gets worse.
Last year, they made chart history by getting the Christmas number one for the fourth year in a row. They were the first musicians in the Official Christmas Chart’s 70-year history to do this.
They topped the charts with a funny song called “Sausage Rolls for Everyone,” which had Sheeran and Sir Elton John on it.
When asked about this year’s attempt, they said, “We never planned to release a fifth Christmas single, but as ambassadors for the Trussell Trust, we didn’t want to do nothing in a year when people are struggling more than ever.”
“The Trussell Trust, which helps more than 1,300 food banks, told us that the rising cost of living has caused a “tsunami” of people who need help because they are struggling to make ends meet.
“Working households, families, and people with disabilities are all having a hard time. So, a few months ago, we asked Bob Geldof, Midge Ure, and the Band Aid Trust for permission to change Do They Know It’s Christmas, the most famous Christmas song of all time.
“When they said yes, it was a real honour for us.”
The couple said they knew they needed “an icon” to start this year’s campaign, so they chose Mr. Lewis, who they called “the people’s champion.”
Mr. Lewis said, “When Mark and Roxanne called me out of the blue and asked if I wanted to join them in Food Aid, I thought they had the wrong person.”
“The only time I’ve ever thought about a Christmas number one was when I had too much orange juice the day before and had to go to the bathroom on Christmas Day.
“But once I knew they were serious and it was for the Trussell Trust, a very important charity I’ve worked with before, I decided to give it a try and do it with gusto.”
He said that the cost-of-living crisis has made this a “tough year for many” and that things aren’t likely to get better, so there is a “profound” need to help people all over the UK.
“I hope this LadBaby song and its lyrics will bring in some money and make people aware,” Mr. Lewis said.
Last year, LadBaby beat out music legends The Beatles and The Spice Girls, who were the only other groups to have three consecutive Christmas number ones in a row.

Comedian Jason Manford has put out a charity single to raise money and awareness for our Emergency Fund Appeal, which is helping food banks stay open this winter.
Assembly Bangers is a dance track with songs that have been sung in school assemblies for decades. It was the last song on Jason’s recent sold-out UK tour. It has songs like “When I Needed a Neighbor,” “Lord of the Dance,” “Sing Hosanna,” and “This Little Light of Mine.”
All of the money made from the single will go to the Emergency Fund Appeal of the Trussell Trust.
