The majority of train operating firms will use modified schedules on Thursday, August 18, and Saturday, August 20. Services may also be interrupted the day before, during, and after the strike.

What is going on?
The RMT union plans to go on strike from Thursday, August 18, 2022, to Saturday, August 20, 2022, and the TSSA union members voted in favour of non-strike action from Thursday, August 18, 2022, to Saturday, August 20, 2022.
On Thursday, August 18 and Saturday, August 20, a drastically condensed timetable will be in effect throughout the network if this action proceeds. On Friday, August 19, services will also be considerably affected. Nearer to the strike date, further information on the services that will be provided will be posted on this website.

West Midlands Railway services will operate despite the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers’ (RMT) strike.
