Are you above the age of 40 and haven’t got your Covid vaccination? Come down to Hillfields in Coventry this weekend for a pop-up clinic.
Hillfields is a vaccine drop-in centre.
You don’t need to make an appointment and can come in whenever you like between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. The clinic will be conducted at the Village Square on Saturday, June 19th, and Sunday, June 20th, making it convenient to visit.
Dr Sarah Raistrick, a Coventry GP and Chair of the Coventry and Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “So’s critical that everyone gets their first and second vaccinations, and these convenient drop-in sessions are one of the simplest ways to do it.” There’s no need to arrange an appointment, you don’t need to be registered with a doctor, you don’t need to be able to use the internet, and you can schedule your vaccination around your weekend activities.
“These clinics are accessible to anybody aged 40 and above, whether they are getting their first or second vaccination, and they are also open to visitors from other countries. It’s very important to get two jabs to protect yourself, your family, and your friends, especially with the Delta strain of Covid that we’re seeing in Coventry, so if you haven’t already and are over 40, please come along this weekend.”
On Saturday, June 1st, 11am to 4pm, and Sunday, June 20th, 11am to 4pm, the clinic will be held in the Village Square, Hillfields, Coventry, CV1 5LZ.
If you have any Covid symptoms, such as a new continuous cough, a high temperature (over 37.8), or a loss or alteration in your sense of taste or smell, you should not attend. If you have symptoms, you must self-isolate and call 119 to schedule a PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test, or go to: Coronavirus Testing (COVID-19).
