On the same day that she turns forty years old, Magaret Coetzer became our fourth millionaire when she walked away from Heart in London on Friday one million pounds richer.
At the time that Magaret joined Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden at Radio Heart alongside nine other Make Me A Millionaire grand finalists, she had no idea that her life was about to be turned upside down in an unimaginable way.
Heart FM gives away 1 million pounds
The new millionaire was the seventh finalist to enter the Make Me a Millionaire vault on Friday morning. She selected box number two as her prize after entering the vault.
On February 27th, a woman named Magaret Coetzer from Bracknell, in the county of Berkshire, declined an offer of £2,000 so that she could compete in the Million Pound Final on Radio Heart.
She is the Head of Quality for a software company that specialises in the refuelling of aircraft, and although her job is demanding, she enjoys it because there is always a new challenge to face.

AJ, Magaret’s husband, joined her at Radio Heart HQ for the Make Me a Millionaire Grand Final. As he watched his wife open the box and reveal the magic words, AJ could not believe what he was seeing and could not comprehend what was taking place.

In addition to their daughter Alex, who is nine years old, the couple also has a Jackapoo named Pepper who is the fourth member of their family.
Before she won Radio Hearts Make Me a Millionaire, Magaret promised that if she did win, she would use the money to take care of herself, her family, and charitable organisations that were important to her.
Because of the fact that her daughter has always wanted a horse, purchasing one is very high on their priority list. In addition to this, Magaret and AJ want to look into donating to charities that focus on animals. They also want to buy another house.
Because the majority of Magaret’s relatives live in South Africa, one of her goals recently was to save up enough money to travel there with her cousins AJ and Alex. And now that she has an extra one million pounds, that dream can become a reality!
