People who have had all doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will be able to demonstrate this using the NHS App from May 17, 2021.
How can this work?
The NHS App also has a new tab that shows how many COVID-19 vaccines people have got. For those who are unable to use the App, a paper version would be available by calling 119, but not by a GP.
The NHS App is distinct from the NHS COVID-19 App, which is used to track down contacts.
The NHS App will now be used to:
make a filing for more drugs
make visits with their psychiatrist to visit them and access portions of their medical records
If you want to use the NHS App when travelling overseas, you can register at least two weeks ahead of time.
Just five days after the second vaccination dose will a paper letter be submitted, and it will take five days to arrive. Go to Gov.uk for more information.
