The list of production and events displayed below for Easter around Coventry have now been cancelled. Downing street have now issued a statement advising residents of Coventry to stay at home this Easter.
The government’s latest message to the public in a new campaign to combat coronavirus is to stay at home this Easter to protect the NHS and save lives.

The campaign was created in response to the added stress of the long Easter weekend, when many people spend time with family and friends. On social media, in print, and outside the home, new organic and paid-for content will be launched.
The new campaign emphasises the importance of staying at home during Easter and only leaving the house to purchase necessities, exercise once a day, fly to work if you can’t work from home, and for medical or social care needs. If you must leave your home for these purposes, keep your time outside of the house to a minimum and stay at least two metres away from anybody who is not a member of your household. On the long weekend, you can stop visiting friends or relatives.
According to a government spokesman,
We recognise that people will want to spend Easter with their friends and relatives, and we understand that we are asking the public to make sacrifices in the fight against this disease.
Everyone has a part to play, and the only way we can protect our loved ones this Easter is to stay away.
We’re at a critical juncture in terms of preventing more coronavirus spread, so it’s critical that we adhere to the government’s recommendations.
