The Coventry Building Society Arena will host Coventry City Football Club’s home match against Sheffield United on Wednesday as scheduled, the team can announce after receiving assurances to that effect.

The definition of “in Administration”

A corporation that is insolvent may use the formal UK insolvency procedure known as administration. The process entails putting the business under the supervision of insolvency professionals and the legal defence of UK courts.

A moratorium is part of administration and it is in effect while the company is under administration. This prevents legal proceedings against a firm from moving further unless the Administrators or the English Court grant authorization.

What does the new administration imply for Wasps fans who have season tickets and game tickets?

Due to the recent cancellation of all Wasps games, match tickets, season tickets, and hospitality packages cannot be honoured. Refunds are not possible from Wasps.

If you used a credit card or debit card to make the purchase, you may be eligible for a refund from the company that issued the card. If this might apply to you, do get in touch with your card issuer as soon as you can. UK Finance can provide more details, including any applicable time constraints.

You can file a claim against Wasps if you are unable to get a refund from the card company. Tickets holders will receive information on how to file a claim. The act of filing a claim in this manner does not guarantee that you will be compensated. If there is a chance of a payment, that will be decided later, and you will be contacted once more.

The Coventry Arena will continue to host events.

Wasps games are the only events that are postponed as a result of the administration. The way Wasps are run has no bearing on:

ticket holders and hospitality packages for Coventry City FC
ticket holders for the Rugby League World Cup and hospitality packages
Bookings for conferences and events
Hotel reservations
Holders of music event tickets

What will happen to product orders placed on the club website and shop?

The management of Wasps has no bearing on the club store (located at the CBS Arena and online).
